Client Introduction
ESL Library provides lesson plans and other valuable resources to professionals teaching English as a Second Language.  Seeking to build a more professional image and drive more traffic to their site, they asked us to develop a new identity, shopping experience and website to include a training section and community where those looking to find or place a job opportunity, would go.

The Challenge
ESL Library’s previous material did not communicate well the products and services the expanded ESL Library had come to offer; their identity and product offerings appeared unrelated and less professional than they should have been. In addition to not showcasing the new full spectrum of products and membership benefits ESL library offered, the site did not function within an intuitive and organized layout.  We were challenged with creating a new “parent” identity that allowed users to associate all of the sub-brands and products with the parent company and facilitate all the sites to work in concert with each other while not “losing” the user.

The Solution
We redeveloped the ESL brand using a graphic mark, that was a unique and bold departure from traditional ESL sites, thereby creating a stronger identity for visitors to recall. The vivid colours within the logo complement one another while also drawing the viewer’s attention and providing  and identifiable icons to organize, differentiate, and prioritize the key features within the site.

The Result
The new ESL Library website has become a premiere portal site for ESL teachers looking to find valuable tools, employment and job training resources. The intuitive design has helped ESL Library better serve and grow their membership base and increase subsequent traffic to subsidiary websites.
